Shared Value
WHAT IS SHARED VALUE ?
Shared value is a strategy that benefits and adds value to businesses whilst simultaneously addressing social issues – creating an improved society. In our sphere, we provide cost effective business process outsourcing to our clients. Our employees are those either rescued from slavery or from ultra poor backgrounds. Lives are transformed whilst businesses benefit from a high quality, stable and committed workforce.
INCREASING VALUE TO CLIENTS – INCREASING VALUE TO SOCIETY
Regenesys is founded on the principle of ‘shared value’ which aims to increase value for both clients and society by integrating transformative social impact into the core operations of business:
We work with NGOs such as World Vision and International Justice Mission, that operate amongst disadvantaged communities, to selectively hire capable individuals for our entry‐level positions.
This strategy results in a highly motivated, committed and stable workforce. Our attrition rate of employees is 3-5% compared with an industry average of 20-30%.
This gives us the ability to provide a higher quality, consistent service to our clients with the ability to up skill our employees and then retain those newly acquired skills within the company.
Sharedvalue.org curates research and insights generated by FSG’s client work, as well as contributions from the wider field. This platform is the go-to source for leaders who want to strategize, implement, or sustain a shared value initiative at their organization.

WHAT IS ETHICAL SOURCING
Ethical Sourcing (also known as Impact Sourcing) is outsourcing that benefits disadvantaged individuals in low employment areas. It looks beyond the common source of supply for traditional outsourcing to provide higher‐income employment and access to new income opportunities to individuals that might not otherwise be employed in this sector. The Business Process Outsourcing industry has the ability to rescue millions out of poverty and Regenesys is committed to seeing this potential fulfilled by creating a top tier workforce from ultra-poor backgrounds.
THE REGENESYS DIFFERENCE
Regenesys works with its NGO partners in the Philippines to select and employ highly capable people from some of the most vulnerable populations including the ultra-poor and those ‘highly at-risk’ of exploitation.
Regenesys’ commitment to ethical business practices is embedded in our vision to create a significant impact on the communities that we work in.
Ethical sourcing at Regenesys is about recruiting from the most at need communities and ensuring decent working conditions are provided to workers in the supply chain by the companies that employ them or utilise their services directly or indirectly.
As a result, Regenesys’ has a strong emphasis on safeguarding against human rights abuses, slavery, corruption, fraud and bribery in our organisation. This is embedded in our business model, our standards of business conduct and in the day-to-day practices across the organization.

HOW WE MEASURE SUCCESS
Employees are asked to fill a detailed questionnaire that takes a snapshot of their current situation. Regenesys and partner NGO staff thoroughly review the answers for accuracy. Regenesys then take subsequent employee snapshots through their time in the organization. This allows Regenesys to provide the metrics regarding the effectiveness in achieving its social aims. It also provides valuable feedback on areas for improvement or additional intervention. Throughout this time, employees are aware that Regenesys cares about their physical, emotional and mental well-being.
Working with partner organisations, we have created an integrated support programme, so that our employees can focus on their futures.
- Medical NGO’s
- Housing Programmes
- Saving + Insurance Programmes
- Childcare for Working Mothers
- Women’s Health
- Mentors + Counsellors
