Creating and running the operations platform that would support massive growth
REP* is a fast expanding real-estate visual media company that empowers realtors, business owners and home builders with market leading visual marketing solutions. In 3 short years, they have gone from working with 2 realtors to well over 600, who all love REP’s advanced 3D, 2D and Aerial imagery solutions delivered within 24 hours for an unbeatable time-to-market service.
REP’s managing director lays out their technology & operational challenges succinctly:
“The platform needs to manage dozens of REP branches across the US, processing thousands of orders which are sent to hundreds of photographers that are taking tens of thousands of photos every day. Then these photos need to be relayed to hundreds of editors located in operations centers in the opposite end of the world. REP’s promise is next-day delivery so the 24 hour turn-around guarantee needs to be rock solid.”
“The technology solution needed to solve this challenge must have the same stability and reliability demanded by large corporations for mission critical operations. In addition, our network of photographers are on the road and need to access updates on job requests throughout the day. Precision needs to be very high so that none of the photos are misplaced or lost as it moves from the shoot to post-production editing to the client.”

Regenesys BPO was selected as the consulting and delivery team with the right expertise in workflow technology, and experience in running large nation-wide operations.
The Regenesys team began working on two streams in parallel: building the editing operations team and creating the new technology platform.
Technology
The Regenesys consulting team helped further define requirements through iterative sessions with REP management, which was then translated to detailed process maps, functional requirements and system specifications.
During the solutions identification phase, the real value-add of the Regenesys approach was revealed: by using a workflow backbone, REP was able to integrate these existing platforms into a front-to-end solution that met their needs.
Operations
Visual media editing is more an art than a set of instructions. Nevertheless, an editor’s eyes can be trained to focus on the visual elements that make a great photo or video. The Regenesys trainers developed comprehensive KOPs and then commenced training that the team had selected based on the initial aptitude assessment. Within 4 weeks we had trained and certified our editors to begin on REP visual media.
