In order to process the large volume of data, the advisory firm needed an advanced business intelligence platform that could run this analysis faster so that their analysts could drilldown into specific insights and trends.

For the evaluation, Regenesys developed a proof of concept, using the client’s own data which was then deployed across several recommended BI platforms. After the evaluation demonstrations, we provided the client with the information needed to select their reporting platform – acting as a conduit and translator between the BI platform sales reps and the client. Once the platform was selected, Regenesys provided an end-to-end service to deploy the new reporting platform. The services involved:
- Data migration, cleansing and validation: To ensure that the reports show the correct information
- Creation of a database and data management tool: To enable end users to add, delete and modify reporting data, so that the database can be used for future transactions
- Deployment of the Business Intelligence solution: Including creating preset reports and dashboard, training end-users on how to use their own data effectively

Through using the BI platform, the client has been able to gain significant insights into investor behavior. They are able to assess the effectiveness of intermediaries and advise in the selection of the best combination of intermediaries for a specific sector and capital market.
